Dirt, dust, and the sound of heavy equipment will be filling the air on the grounds of the Gardens in the near future!

Celebrating over 20 years of operation, the 30 acres of Monk Botanical Gardens has had many improvements made to the property through generous donations of time, talent, and funds. The Gardens features many areas and exhibits, including the Shade and Hosta Garden, Sara’s Storybook Garden, Wildflower Woods and Memory Garden, the spectacular Treehouse, and the Kitchen Garden/Potager. As part of this, the grounds and facilities are currently going through the next phase of the master plan expansion and construction. Stay tuned for exciting changes!

Monk Botanical Gardens seeks to promote an understanding of the aesthetic, economic, and ecological role of plants. The Gardens hosts year-round events and programming including Sprouts Garden Preschool, children’s summer camps, and classes and learning for all ages. More than 60,000 children, students, and adults visit and participate in events all year long at the Gardens.
