With some much-needed rain, plants are flourishing at the Gardens! In our new Shade and Hosta Garden, installed by the North Central Wisconsin Master Gardeners, there are a plethora of unique plant varieties starting to bloom. If you are looking for plants that can tolerate shade to partial shade, take a walk through this display garden to see what you can incorporate into your yard. One blooming beauty is ‘Star of a Billion’ Masterwort. It has star-shaped blossoms that burst upward from the base of the plant. You can see these blooms along with Astilbe, Shasta Daisy, Goatsbeard, Hosta, Spirea, Yarrow, Cinquefoil, Primroses and more at the Gardens.
