Sprouts Garden Preschool

Sprouts Garden Preschool is a garden & nature-based preschool program serving 3-5 year olds that puts the natural world at the heart of the program. 

Sprouts Preschool Highlights:

• Participating in YoungStar, 3 star rating
• Small teacher to student ratio (1:4 for 3-year-olds and 1:6 for 4-year-olds)
• Before care available
• 80% of class time is spent outdoors
• Child-led & nature-based curriculum of play and hands-on experiences
• Guided by skilled early childhood and environmental educators

 3K Classes:

Sunflower Sprouts, MWF 8:30-11:30am

Clover Sprouts, TuTh 8:30-11:30am

4K Classes:

Brussels Sprouts, M-F 8:30am-3:30pm

*Alfalfa Sprouts, MWF 8:30am-3:30pm*

*Barley Sprouts, TuTh 8:30am-3:30pm*

*These options are a complement to Red Granite Charter School’s 4K options. Red Granite is a Waldorf inspired public charter school affiliated with the Wausau School District. Although our pedagogies differ, Red Granite shares several core values with Sprouts Garden Preschool and may be a good public school option for some families.

Please note that Sprouts Garden Preschool is not affiliated with any school district. Enrolling with us does not guarantee placement at Red Granite Charter School. Families must apply through Red Granite’s established application process, and we do not have any influence over their enrollment or placement decisions.

We are always evaluating our program offerings to ensure the best use of our resources, comply with licensing requirements, and meet the needs of area families. Class offerings will be adjusted as needed.
